Deciduous Deadwood

Traditionally, deadwood does not feature in deciduous bonsai as commonly as in conifers, but in nature, broadleaved trees often have extensive areas of exposed wood. These ancient oaks in Trentham Gardens, Stoke-on-Trent are a fine example.
